A Message from Jennifer Stanton...
I
have been a resident of Isle of Wight County for the last 9 years.
Since 1990, I have practiced criminal law in Trial and Appellate Courts
across Virginia, including Isle of Wight. For almost 20 years, first as
a prosecutor and later in my own private practice, I have handled
thousands of criminal cases, including the entire range of serious
felony offenses in state and federal courts. The job of Commonwealth’s
Attorney is a formidable responsibility. It takes a thorough knowledge
of criminal law and extensive trial experience. The lives and safety of
the public demand nothing less. I intend to honor that
responsibility—and safeguard the citizens of Isle of Wight—by using my
proven experience handling serious criminal cases to protect the people
I will be honored to serve.
